Abilities Rec is a recreational center specifically created for individuals with Autism and other disabilities to come and experience a variety of activities designed for all ages, all abilities.  Abilities Rec offers classes, events, mobile programs, and birthday parties.  NO ONE is too old for a little bit of fun.

After years of dreaming, Jamie and her husband, Kevin were provided the opportunity to make Abilities Rec, Inc. a reality! They are excited to offer a safe environment where individuals of all ages, all abilities are able to have a fun time meeting new people while staying active.

Yes, Abilities Rec offers two levels of memberships, individual and family memberships.

No, access to the sensory room is also available via the purchase of a single day drop-in pass.

Yes, a single day drop-in pass allows access to all classes and the sensory room on that given day.  Exclusions would be if any private group class or birthday party is taking place.  In that situation, once said program is over, access to Abilities Rec would be fully available.

Yes, Abilities Rec offers birthday parties.  They can take place at Abilities Rec or at the location of your choice.

This depends on each individual and parent/caregiver, and the comfort level they have with their child in a public class environment. Keep in mind drop-in classes will have a higher student to staff ratio. Depending on the program or event an additional drop off fee may apply.

Yes, supervision is required always unless it is during birthday parties or other special events.

Meet Our Coaches

Our highly-energized coaches have experience working with individuals with special needs of all ages and are trained in the use of proactive behavior-management techniques.  Coaches are dedicated to facilitating a positive experience for every participant. To accomplish this goal, a high staff to participant ratio will be maintained at all times.
